What I’ve Been Up To:
Yesterday, I went to an event for Jennifer Lopez’s new wellness brand, Body Lab. There were about 25 lifestyle bloggers and reporters there, and we got to meet one another on a deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean, drinking cucumber strawberry water, and eating spectacularly presented healthy bites.
I have to pause now to gush about the crudite display. I’ve never seen anything like it. It looked like a miniature farm with vegetables “planted” in rows of dirt. Everything was edible. The dirt was made of olive bread crumbs littered with puffed wild rice “worms.” They used a hoe to scoop the “dirt” onto your plate and poured dressing out of a watering can.
I took a video because you have to see the whole process to really get the wow factor:
My friend Patricia Bannan (@NutritionGoGo) was there too!
And here’s Jennifer Lopez! It was such a pleasure to watch her speak in person! Doesn’t she glow?
